I think he did right. He didn't hurt anyone and he exposed a drug house. Good for him.

I can see that he might possibly agree to a plea of performing home remodeling work without a contractor's license and/or building permit. And even that might be defensible if he can show that he only got to the tear-out stage of remodeling and never progressed to the installation and improvement stage. And when you factor into this defense that he wasn't charging anyone for the improvements, but doing it faith-based, as a volunteer of the lord, and doing the lord's work, why if I was on the jury my hands would be in the air and I'd be praising the Almighty for his generosity.

What happened to innocent until proven guilty? How would you feel if someone smashed your house because they "suspected drugs were being used" ? Not cool

This guy is crazy. Sorry. Only a judge should be able to determine if a drug house should be destroyed by sledgehammer. And he must have legal justication, at that. There must also be a conviction, first.

Yes, he was wrong. He can't just go around smashing up people's property just because he is the mayor and he disagrees with the goings on in the house.
