And don't forget Seaborgium, named for Glenn T. Seaborg.

So we have:

Fermium (100) (Enrico Fermi)
Lawrencium (103) (Ernest Lawrence)
Meitnerium (109) (Lise Meitner)
Mendelevium (101) (Dmitri Mendeleev)
Nobelium (102) (Alfred Nobel)

Einsteinium (Es), named after Albert Einstein, made in 1952 at the University of California;
Lawrencium (Lr), named after EO Lawrence, who invented a machine called a cyclotron that enabled people to make new elements for the first time. Lawrencium was made at the University of California in 1961 ;
Mendelevium (Md), named after a Russian Chemist Dimtri Mendeleev, who figured out the Periodic Table in the first place. Made in 1955 at the University of California;
Curium (Cm), named in honour of Marie and Pierre Curie, it was made in 1944 at Chicago.

Very interesting question!! I learned some!

Ruthenium, Einsteinium, Lawrencium, Wolfram (look it up), Fermium, Gallium, Gadolinium, Tellurium, Curium, Mendeleevium. Wolfram is the european for Tungsten. Gallium was named (and discovered) by a frenchman, Le Coq, who presumably named it for France (Gaul). But Le Coq means the rooster...as does a permutation of Galle....so it is also possible he named it for himself..the only chemist to do so.
