I am now confused with this problem.
please tell me the answer and the steps

Hi, this is a concept and not an equation to be solved for x. You can use any number and the equation will hold true. Ex. if x = 10 then 10-2<10+2 --- 8<12.

The inequality x-2 < x+2 holds true for any value of x, where x is real.Simply think this way, if u substract 2 from x u will get a number less than x. And if u add 2 u will get a number greater than 2.

ok im in Algebra 1, too. All you have to do is: Leave change opposite x-2 so it becomes
x+(-2) -2x<2x then the problem is solved and if its true and false the answer is true!

what it tell to do if it ask for answer it correct buy it give what is x it still correct because if x = 5 so 5-2 is less than 5 + 2 so it correct.

x equals all reals.

Because, subtract x from both sides and get: -2<2. -2 is obviously less than 2 in all instances, so it doesn't matter what x is.

suppose u have 10 apples each on ur left and right side......

Then u take away 2 from ur left side & put 2 in ur left side....

which side will have lesser apples & which side will have more apples.... I think u know the answer now.

x could equal 0

x-2 < x+2
0-2 < 0+2
-2 < +2

I'm not sure, because it might be a trick question :D
