i met him about a year ago, and i really liked him but people got in the way & we just ended up becoming really, really close friends. he was really the only person i cared about, but they became stictly friendly feelings. in the bak of my head i wanted him, but i never admitted it. then in april i ended up moving about 300 miles away from him... we kept in touch and got to the point where we ended up talking on the phone every single night for at least two hours straight. somehow i ended up falling for him- HARD. we still keep in touch & i have no idea how he feels about me. we're in high school- he's often busy with football and we talk when we can. i love him to death and i would do anything in this world for him... i just don't know if its worth staying long-distance friends & putting myself through this pain when he's so far away. i have the oppurtunity to go back home and visit him next month but i don't wanna see him if i'm gonna have to turn around & leave again. what do i do?

I'm going to advise you as someone who is currently in a long-distance relationship. It is too hard. It is so hard it is worth waiting for the time in which you can live closer together to be with each other because if you get together now, you will miss out on so many necessary beginning relationship steps and you'll feel horrible about it. Maybe you can just express your feelings to him, see if he feels the same way, and if he does, make some sort of agreement in which you'll be friends while waiting for a more available time all the while not closing eachother off the dating market. I wish I had done that.

You should forget about him, you are very young and still in high school. A boy friend 300 miles is not worth it for anyone in high school. You will only miss him and won't really know what he is dong or if he has another girlfriend. If you want a BF, then he should live close so both of you can see each other on a regular basis.
At your age you should not be thinking about loving "him to death". You need to first learn about life in general, having different BF's will only help you. You have many years ahead and you should use them to learn about life, this way when Mr. Right comes along you will know it.

Long distance relationships are next to impossible to keep going, I empathize with your feelings as I have "been there, done that."
Hate to say it but you may have to let this love go and wait for the next one. You are in high school. Trust me, you will have these feelings for someone more than once. I am not trying to say that because you are in high school that you cant be in love, because you can.

i would see him and see. alot of people have to carry on romances long distance . and your in high school to boot . i would just see and if you fall hard deal with it then.

it sounds like to me that he likes u too, because if he didn't like u, he wouldn't spend that much time to talk to u, to get to know u, so i'm sure he likes u ,and long distance relationships work
