HI- I live in NJ and sometimes think about bringing my son while I work at a daycare. Would I end up with nothing in my paycheck. Do daycares ever offer health benefits (we have none) to part time workers?

I don't work there now. I would pay for him to attend and earn money as an employee. Would it be a total wash?

Actually, I work part-time in a daycare, and I know of at least one staff whose two daughters attended the daycare. If you want to spend time with him, it's probably not that bad of an idea. But as a part-time, I doubt you would get any kind of health benefits.

The other thing is, probably most of your paycheck is going to go towards the money it costs for your son to go there, because daycare is expensive. It might almost be more worth it for you to just stay at home with him.
