A whole lot depends on the occasion and the date. If you can match the navy blue - go for that. Second choice - flame red. You can tell everyone you are for America. It will give you a great conversation starter as well. Stay away from white if at all possible as it will look like prom night.

I am a guy with NO (ZERO, NADA, ZIP) sense of fashion. I can barely dress myself and my color coordination would make a committee of blind men seem enlightened.
So when I tell my wife that a combination she is wearing is not up to par, she changes immediately. I am dead serious, no questions, no comments, no nothing, just a different outfit. Her theory is that if it is bad enough for me to NOTICE, it is BAD enough that she might get arrested for wearing it.
Having said that, here goes:
Camel ANYTHING with that dress is REALLY, REALLY, REALLY B_A_D!!!!
Seriously, almost anything else. I would recommend bare footed before camel.
There's my comment. If I took that tone with my wife, she would not only, not wear the shoes, she might throw either the dress or the shoes away in order to eliminate any possibility that she could ever do it again.
I would recommend, in order, 1 blue, 2 white, 3 black, 4 red. With 1 and 2 interchangeable. And Labor Day can go to blazes. If something looks good, and white would look great, what does the calender have to do with it?

1. This is too out of style. But with the right accessories it would just bring it out. 2. You should wear dangly white earrings, with a white neckles. 3. You should wear some navy blue shoes. 4. NO DON'T WEAR A SHIRT OVER THE DRESS. 5. Maybe a wrap look, or crinkles, or maybe a swoop with shirley Temples, or maybe just shirley temples.

Do you have any cute navy or red flats or peep-toe pumps? I think those two colors would be the best option.
The camel ones won't do, sorry.

Nope. wear navy or red pumps. The camel one will offset the dress.

I think that would be fine. If they aren't exactly white, then it should work. Just add a big necklace, bracelet, or earrings of the other color, in this case navy, to distract from the white. You should be fine I think.
