i found this program "modem on hold" in my instalation disk, i still don't know how it works, but in help menu it said that it can call and receive phone call

That is what I am using, plug the line to the modem the other line to the phone use software it can show you on the screen the name of the caller and his number you have chance to let the computer read a message that you are UN available , please leave a message or you can answer the phone through the computer mic.

Plug in a microphone... turn up the speaker volume on your modem... then use windows dial up networking to dial a phone number. :)
