On the powerpoint slide you want the music to start from, go to insert on the tool bar, click on movies and sounds, click on sound from file, and locate your sound clip. See the help in Powerpoint for the options on how long to play the sound, when to start etc.
When you save the powerpoint presentation, you will also need to save the sound clip. It's preferable to have the sound clip in the same directory as your powerpoint, so that when you save it to disk to transfer to the other computer, both files are located in the same directory. It makes it easier for powerpoint to locate your sound clip when you play it on the other computer.
