My favorite regions for wine are Rioja, Burgundy, and southeastern Washington. Many of the Walla Walla wineries are exceptional.
For beer, I've always liked the Trappist ales from Belgium.

As I told you in other question you made, Chilean wine is the best in the world, especially the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carmenere, and Syrah.
