The tea pot is by Chkaramachi. It's made in Japan. Its about 7 1/2 inches tall. All white and painted green at top with a flower design. Can anyone help.

Replacements.com is a great source of pricing information for all kinds of china, silver, etc. You didn't mention the number of the pattern of your teapot, so here is the replacements.com webpage for all of that manufacturer. http://www.replacements.com/china/CHK.htm

Remember that they are listing the replacement value - you may not be able to get that much on e-bay or thru a local antique dealer, but it will give you a price to shoot for or an amount to insure it for.

Check the library or go to a book store. There are many books for such things. Just ask the clerk in the store and then browse through the book. You don't have to buy it. I've done it many times.

If it's like this one, then the teapot by it'self isn't worth much. The whole set goes for less than $300.
