Do you think the USA is in trouble -----? We are in trouble now; Bush took us into a Grudge war we should never have been in. It does not make a difference if we have a republican or democrat running our country if they are in office for the American people. We are in trouble when we have a president who lets his own feelings dictate. Bush went into office intending to go to war. He ignored other world leaders, the UN, many of his own advisors, and the inspectors he sent to Iraq and chose to twist intelligence into a justification for his war; I hope we do not get another president with "the same beliefs", republican or democrat! We do not have a lot of good choices for president on either side but there are some and with gods help and Americans desire to return America to what we were, we will have an American President, a president for all of us, republican, democrat, or whatever party to side with.

Western Dude- grow up, Brokeback Mountain was filmed in Canada. We don't think you are all gay, well!!You're pro-life,? what is your position on Capital Punishment ? Just curious!
Who ever you get, since you have a 2 party system, it's going to be a mess.
If Republican, they will blunder on in the illegal war in Iraq. If the new Pres. is not a neo-con, he won't have a clue of what it's all about. Jeb Bush will be in on the family 's little dirty deals, but poor John Mc Cain will be in complete shock.
If a Dem. wins, now that will be total confusion. Bush has your country so imbedded as it were in Iraq, there is no honourable way to get out.
As I see it, the plan was supposed to have moved faster. Bush listened to a lot of bad advice. By now, the 14 bases the US are building in Iraq should be operational & ready to threaten Iran. However , a lesson that should have been learned in Vietnam, wasn't. When you invad a country, even though I may hate my neighbor, I will hate the invader more. I really do not see a solution, the US cannot run with their tails between their legs like in Vietnam. In fact if they pull out at all the country will fall into a bloodbath of a civil war that will make Saddam look like a Sunday school teacher. What a f**king mess. Why can't the US just mind their own Blo*dy business. Good Luck

Abortion and gay marriage will not change by having a Democrat in office. Abortion hasn't been overturned yet and gay marriage is a state-by-state issue. The federal gov't doesn't issue marriage licenses, so it really isn't a big deal.
I do think the US would be better off if the next administration wasn't Republican. Bush's economic and international policies have set this country back.
I think the people of the US need to open their minds and elect someone who brings the country together instead of dividing it. And I'm not necessarily talking about voting in a Dem.

I'm praying that we do get a liberal in office. And by liberal, I mean a Howard Dean level liberal, not just someone running on the Democratic ticket. And yes, I did say praying and liberal in the same sentence. The two are not mutually exclusive.

Clinton left the USA with a budget Surplus, and the economy was good!
If we continue in the direction we are going we will loose the freedom many fought for.
The republicans took us to VIETNAM and IRAQ
The Democrats won WWII
Nixon had to resign office, and had to be pardoned
I've lived though 11 presidents. Democrats run the country better.
So VOTE!

I think the USA is going to be fine, but I think Democrats and Republicans are in trouble. Neither party listens anymore to the people, and the people are angry.

We definitly need change. How does two men getting the same rights as a man and a woman hurt you idiots? Think about it...If i was allowed to marry my partner of six and a half years I would not be able to file income tax as a single person and I would have to claim his income for my (liberal) welfare. If we were married the Govt. would not allow me the hundreds of dollars in benefits I get from Medicare and Social Sucurity because he makes to much $$. I am not married nor would I get married if gays were allowed. It is a Church issue anyway. All the govt does is give benefits and tax the hell out of couples who are marrried. The govt. has no business deciding anything to do with marriage. All it is is a bunch of homophobes scared to death by the BIG MEDIA INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX. Our Govt. and the corp. owned media (FOX, Rush pain pill and can't get it up Viagra Limbaugh) Has you peaople snowed Try thinking for yourself if you have half a brain and read a book and stop listening to the FEAR Propaganda. And don't get me started on PRO LIFE. If you really thought every life was precious you would adopt and quit hating those of us who are living or are you one of those who like playing God and decide who you think deserves a life. To hear you and your right wing pundits you hate gays and wish we would die. Well some of those aborted fetuses were definitly destined to be Homosexual! Did you choose to like the oppiste sex? I did not choose to like men but I do. If i could I would NOT be Gay . Think about it if I actually had a choice do you really think for a second I would want to live in a world were I am made fun of and called names? It is not a choice. If Abotion were legal when my mother was pregnant with me we would be less one ****** because she told me so. She tried rolling down hills and pouring coke up her to cause a miscarrage So apparently your GOD wants this fag to be here . one final thought......THERE IS NOTHING WORSE THAN AN UNENLIGHTENED BIGGOT. READ A BOOK!

It's time for a change. We can't afford to continue to sell out America to the highest bidder. Vote for someone that will uphold the laws of our land and forget about party lines.
