Have you looked into museums in Miami? That may be a place to start. Check out the art museums first. There are usually plenty of paintings and sculptures to look at.
Then, try natural history museums (bones of animals, etc).
Another suggestion is to try an aquarium. This is usually fascinating watching the varieties of fish.
If this qualifies, check out any culinary schools. Ask if you and your group can get a tour and maybe observe a class (usually it's a lecture class).
If you don't like these ideas, ask at your local public library. The librarian may be able to find some attractions in your area that fit the needs of your group.

I'm not sure if you have one in Fl, but in Philly they have this restaurant "Casa Blanka" It is the coolest place on earth. When you enter you actually feel like your in India. All the waiters/watresses dress up and the whole place is decorated authentically. The food is amaizing although I'm sure it's nothing anyone has ever tried. Maybe if you look it up on the internet you can see if there's one by you.
