I want either an mp3 or ipod
1. I want video
2. I want to send music from my Windows Media Player 10 to it.
3. I want to convert DVDs to videos onto the player
4. I might be good to have a radio and sound recorder, but not necessary

first guy that aswered is a mega retard th eipod only supports 2 video formats and sucks just SUCKS! and it doesnt work with wmp10. creative zen vision m works with wmp10 has videos 6 formats to support. and it has better sound uqality and video and screen uqlaity than the ipod video. it also has an fm radion and mic and themes ans pictures are zoomable and u can set as backgrounds and the zen has reallly nice ffeatures,. much more than theipod. ipods are real crap.

depends if i were u i would go with an iPod i went with 3 other MP3 players and they all didn't work worth a crap and they were expensive too. I have never had a single problem with my ipod video but my bro has never had a prob with the nano either. apple company is very trustworthy and i have never had a thing against them yet so just decide if u get an ipod what trpe on what u can afford or what youll use or want

if you want to use windows media player DO NOT get an iPod video
get the creative vision one, its just like the iPod video only you can use windows media player

i like the nano b/c its small but for what you want u should get a video ipod. theyre pretty expensive but the picture is so clear and is very nice to watch videos on

ipod video because you can put music videos DVD and tons of music and can buy a recorder from apple.com and a radio transmiter
