I live in Oakland County and I've looked around the Free Press and researched this Singles group, Metropolitan Singles- they advertise Single Mingle Dances on Friday nights and I was wondering if anyone on here has ever been to these dances? If so, is it worth it? How many people go, and what kind of dancing, and how successful are you in meeting people. Any help appreciated!

I have been to one. I went to one on Woodward. I found it to be ok, but in the same time, I just felt like the room was filled with a lot of desperate people. Some had conversation. Others didn't. They serve free drinks at those events though. Good luck
