The former wife was a real weirdo. Anyway he was famous before marrying Melanie.
The only thing I don't like about him is the same as Johhny Depp, if they weren't beautiful boys they wouldn't be famous.

Oh god Melanie who? She isn't a superstar nor that famous. She married Don Johnson back when he was popular with Miami Vice in the 80's to stimulate her nowhere career. To say he married her to become famous in the U.S. is absolutely ridiculous!

I can't think of a celebrity marriage that has so-quickly resulted in an up-and-coming star's career screeching to a halt as AB & MG.
He couldn't have done a WORSE thing for his career, in my opinion. He was famous before he started seeing Melanie and he had a good chance of being one of the big ones...

No, Antonio Bandaeras was already famous in the U.S. as well as Europe when he met Melanie.

Noo way. He had already did the FIRST Zorro in the US..and was well WELL on his way (if not already there) with his OWN stardom when he met her (and her career was floundering at that time). He's stayed with her through thick & thin (by her own admittance)...so I think the answer to that is a BIG "no way".
