The computer is a phenomenal research tool. Rather than asking questions about the myriad of subjects in school. You can use wikipedia to look up the subject and generally find out anything you want to learn about any question you might have.

How many individuals know that wikipedia can be editted and written by anyone who can type?

When using the Internet, you must consider the source. I agree that the Internet is a wonderful place for research, but you still can't believe everything you read.

Wikipedia is good but unfortunately anyone can post anything, and the person researching a topic might find a wrong answer (and use it) before the people who edit the information do.

I agree wikipedia is absolutely great. I always use it for projects that don't require for me to post a source. However, none of my teachers allow me to use wikipedia for any of my research papers, because it can be edited by anyone to say anything.

The problem with Wikipedia is that anyone can add anything they want to it. Just to prove how dumb this is, I went to Wikipedia and added to the Roses entry that "The Easter Bunny is especially attracted to yellow roses."

I've noticed that they can't google either, since their answers take less time to get via google than via this service.

I think that getting more broad view of answers by getting different points of views.

The students dont want to look anything up, they want someone else to do the work for them.
