Depends how you mean best car. If you mean the best you can buy then Aston, Bentley or Roller. If you mean best value for money and reliabilty then a Mk3 Cavalier would be your answer.
There`s never been a Fiat ever made that would feature in a `best cars list` unless it was `best at being unreliable` or `best chance of falling to bits within months`. If you are after buying a car then you could go for `best ponce`s car` and get a VW or best `baldy person with **** extension driven like an utter tosspot` and buy a BMW.

If you mean road cars (standard race) I would say the Mazda RX8 I love it an amazing drive and needs constant revving as it has no fly wheel if you don't rev you stall it is that simple.
If you ask super car I will say out of the few I have driven for drive factor alone the Lamborghini muchalargo can not be beaten easily it is the car I would buy if I had stupid money in the bank. I have driven one 7 or 8 times now and I still can not get enogth. they are relay nasty to get in to and I would hate to drive more then a few hundred miles in one but believe me when I say they are fast brutally fast but all the time feel safe and you feel in control.
Kitt from knight rider kicks bum but I do not think that that counts.
If you are thinking of the best classic car of all time I would say the old mini is the best.

Bowler Wildcat, a vehicle so robust it doesn't really suffer any damage when dropped 40 feet onto its nose. And on an off-road track can still do 0-60 in 4.8 seconds using a half land rover-half TVR engine. Thats one car that really is all things to all people.

VW Beetle. 25,000,000 people couldn't be wrong. Still used by a lot of people for daily transportation. Easy to repair, and low cost of maintenance. One of the longest runs for any car built. First appeared in 1939, production ended in 2003
