Someone left an answer to a question: "Seems to be no interest in understanding the Hindu religion" which i find to be mightily offensive - arrogent as well.
Why do some people want to be like that? (petty, that is)

The hope of Yahoo is to provide a free service to people that have questions. Unfortunately, some of the people that reply do not have a functioning brain, and go around making idiotic comments and replies to peoples questions. Or else they go and give a thumbs down rating because they 'can'. All you have to be is a level 2 to be able to do that, there is no intelligence required. I wish that there was a 'boot' where there was a bot or something that scanned the site now and then, and was able to give a warning to those who don't legitimately use this site and after their warning, boot em! I don't know......it's frustrating.

Some people belittle or degrade others because they have low self esteem and to put someone else down makes them feel bigger. Actually, it a false sense of power, passive aggressive, and pathetic. People with positive self images offer advise and constructive criticism. In the USA, freedom of speech, is one of our basic liberties. Unfortunately there are millions of people who abuse it and feel the need to be rude, insensitive, and down right A- holish. I don't know much about the Hindu religion or it's beliefs. However, if people were to follow the basic Bible principle of treating people the way you want to be treated (this is a universal principle regardless of their race, ethnic group, or religion) the world would be a better place.

do you know what kudos to you . im sick of so many people putting you down for no reason when you ask a question. i feel like saying if you dont want to answer me in a proper manner then dont answer me atall.people come on here to get help not to be talking to like a piece of dirt.ive asked many questiona and had people given me stupid or nasty remarks as i say if you cant write nothing nice then dont write atall. im sorry you too have had to put up with mindless insolent people

Unfortunately there are people who refuse to have an open mind about anything that doesn't fit into their own little world. If it can not benefit them in any way or if they don't have the brain capacity to soak in new information, they feel that it shouldn't matter to anyone else.

humans are proud creatures mostly because of our postion on the food chain and our intellect. but we dont just use this info to feed on all other animals and plants, we eat at each other with it all in a desperate sense to feel like the overall most superior being. this also accounts for y there are points ratings on this thing.

Isn't it just so sad. I mean this is why the country is the way it is. Because the people like that can't be open-minded. We just all need to pray for these people everyday. Hopefully they can learn to love everyone for who they are, not what they are.
