If you're a teenager, put the computer in the livingroom where there is traffic. If you're not, then just use some self control. Distract yourself, take walks, hang out with friends. Whatever you do, you need to get out of the house!

Hello, I think that you have substituted friends for cyber friends and that is a big mistake you are making. You need to socialize more and meet people; go to a basketball court and start playing even if it is on your own and then you will see that others will join you. Gluing yourself to the computer will just drive you into depression and it will be hard to get out of it.

Hope I was able to help you.

Make a time during the day that is for computer time and dont turn on the computer till then, It will be hard, but after awhile you will look forward to that time. Make it when you have all your things done, kids inbed , homework done, ect. You will beable to relax and enjoy your computer time better.

If others do not entirely depend on you for connectivity/contact through computer, then , all that is required is re-adjusting your own priorities, needs, uses.
