hamsters, gerbils, even mice, they all have a tendency to partake of the human flesh every now and then.
Just forewarn any who who's foolish enough to reach into their cages, others wise, they become part of the main course.....

Yes, and I know from experience. One time we let our pet hamster out in an enclosed area in the living room while his tank was being cleaned. When it was time for him to go back in, he darted underneath one of our end tables. Silly me goes and reaches under the table to grab him and CHOMP! He bit my finger! Luckily he didn't penetrate my flesh, but yes hamsters do bite.

Some hamsters bite some don't.
Its like asking do dogs bite.
There are some sweet cuttly hamster and some that bite.

I can tell you the ones that do bite don't hurt that bad anyways.

They nip when you scare them.

OH YES! They do bite! But it depends, some hamsters are very sweet and cuddly...some are not...

Hamsters bite, but its more of a little nibble and it tickles more than hurts, its kind of cute.

Yes, but gerbils and mice are worse, get a dumbo rat. Rats are the best rodent pet. Guinea Pigs don't bite either, but Rats are the smartest. We've had them all and degu's too but they are just really noisy at night.

yes but its rare they only bite to get out of a situation that they do not like. for example if someone is squeezing them too hard.
