Titanium is essentialy non-toxic. On the other hand, mercury is a deadly poison of which 1 gram can pollute a lake of about 20 acres to the extend of rendering fishes improper to eat.

Mercury is much more toxic. Even dental amalgams are a slow poison.

mercury . they kill fishes and make illness, people who eats fish with high mercury levels
