absolutely. just be sure to drive your car (delorean preferrably, because if your going to travel in time, you might as well do it in style) at 88 mph with a hook at the end of it towards a power line at the exact moment it gets struck by lightning. however, i believe its 1.21 gigawatts of power. its valid, i saw it in a movie once...
