Is he ashamed of them? Is he trying to hide something? Shouldn't we applaud those who gave their lives for this foolish war? Why keep them hidden?

To shut_up_dummy. actually it's the ultra right anti-gays who protest at soldiers burials. Liberal patriots would never stoop to such disgusting behavior

OUT OF RESPECT MY ***
He doesn't want the American public to know the truth about his war.
Soldiers and civilians are dying at a alarming rate to build another muslin country,, that Bush said we would not do,,, but he lied about that also.
A average of 150 people die each day in this war he is responsible for.
The only thing Bush respects,,is special interest and money.

I think he wants to keep us focused on fear..he knows history and the many Viet Nam vets coming home in caskets led to the antiwar protests and eventually ended the war.

He wants unending war.

If he gets the corporate owned media talking about how noble it is to fight and cr-p about bringing democracy to the people he is poisoning with DU , he hopes to change people's perception of war.

With tens of thousands of troops from this war where we dropped the equivalent of 1/4 million Nagasaki bombs being sent home sick, many are dying but are not counted in the war dead count thus making it look like a low causality war and worth the price.

Over 13,000 of the first gulf war vets have died due to injuries and illnesses--most from the cause of gulf war syndrome which is Depleted uranium..it was this war that this weapon of mass destruction was first used.

He doesn't like being brought face to face with the horror and sadness of what he did. If he went to funerals, he would be exposed to the family's pain..

Actually your question is wrong. Bush is not the one that says no picture of caskets, that would be Donald Rumsfeld. He is the Secretary of Defense, and he is the one that fired the contractor that took pictures of caskets a few years ago. The decision to let no pictures be taken is one out of respect for the families, not out of being ashamed. I thought you people say that the Bush administration has no shame, well you cannot have it both ways. Silly liberal.

I'm sorry, I almost forgot to address the dumbest part of your question. As for the part about him trying to hide something, well that is an idiotic idea. When we hear of deaths that happen over in Iraq we hear about it right away. The media loves to report how many people died today in Baghdad, and you know that. There is no way that anyone could possibly hide the number of dead from this war. There are literally thousands of websites with the number of dead, and several with the name, picture, and a short bio of each one. Got to faces of the fallen, from the Washington Compost, and you will see every single one of them. That part of your question is just ridiculous.

I lost my son....

There were no TV cameras. America didn't know.

There were no hippies. America didn't care

No president was present. He didn't care to know.

When I planted him in the bone orchard it would have been nice if Americans knew so they could show they cared.

He wasn't a vet. He wasn't a hippie. He loved TV.

But he was an American and would have enjoyed his 15 min. of fame.

I didn't enjoy any of it but his joy was always my joy.
