I love this line, but it does puzzle me. Anybody got any ideas what its true meaning is?

It's a great statement giving the speaker total freedom of expression.
No matter if he lies or if he tells the truth the statement remains true and the listener will never know if the statements made are true or false.

Maybe it means that within every lie, there is some truth, i like that line too.

Even when you lie, what comes out from your mouth makes more sense than what other says. Even when you do lie, what you say can be interpreted as being true.
