Since the Chinese and Mayan empires existed during the time of Jesus, could he have seen them from the top of a mountain, presumably in or around Jerusalem? If so, how high would the mountain be? I am assuming it would have to extend beyond the atmosphere due to the curvature of the earth. ref: Matthew 4

Science and math based answers only please.

No way. Even if the mountain were tall, how could he see the other side of the earth? He could only see one side at a time. But let's face it, if you start trying to figure out all the wild inconsistencies and contradictions in the Bible, you are going to be working on it for a long time!

Your question is ludicrous because the Bible is fiction. But, just to entertain you: the highest mountain could only see one hemisphere, so there is no way the Incan, Aboriginal Australian, Chinese, Olmec, and Native American 'kingdoms' could have been seen by anyone outside of superman. Which goes to show you there is more science and fact in the average comic book the any religious mythology. Your book of faith is meant for allegory ONLY.

From the Biblical point of view he was shown the power and glory of all the kingdoms of the earth to now, in order to "tempt or sway him" and although this was a tremendous attraction to be a ruler of, think of America and her nuclear force alone, he passed because he knew it would not last forever.

You must realize that to God and Satan, time is relative and therefore, they don't "have the ability to "foresee" the future" so much as simply have the "ability to look ahead AT the future." This is also why Satan is do desperate today, once kicked out of heaven and enclosed in spiritual darkness (Gen. 3:15) he can no longer see ahead to foresee his fate now.

Well, in that you are using the Bible to form your question, I shall use it to answer you. What you pose shall be done in reverse. In the book of Revelation it is noted that every eye shall see Him when He (Jesus) returns to rule - how is that done? As well as we have done in our understanding, we are not gods, and we do not know the powers that God Has. In the book of John Jesus said that he was presently "above" even while he was on earth. How is that done?

You speak of make-believe. There is no such thing as a 'Science- and Math-based (yes, there is a dash there) answers' when it comes to the bible and jebus.

Maybe if he rode a dragon or Santa's sleigh.

Keep your religious propaganda out of REAL discussions about Science!

Ah, but He had superhuman powers and could project his point of view to outer space. He may have been physically on the mountain, but his consciousness was everywhere.
