so i just watched episode 15-17 and i am very confused is Haku a boy or a girl he/she looks like a girl and sounds like a girl but everyone calls her/him boy. And when they have flash backs and stuff Haku asks like a girl. Whats is the deal?( i watched the cartoon network version)
oh yhea and does anyone know why there are randomly birds flying right after naruto punched Haku in the face.

1. Haku is a male. Haku acts feminine because that's how he was made out to be and, in the Japanese version, that's how he is so they were just trying to remain true to the story.

2. No real reason except a symbolic one. Most films contain it. Depending on the bird depends on what it symbolizes. For example, in the anime "Serial Experiments Lain" there is a plethora of crows. Does that mean Japan is being overrun by them? No, it just is a symbolic way of implying occultism, omens, et cetera.

haku is a boy. hes just gender confused. and no i dont. just for effect i guess? but belive me theres more confusing stuff! im on the episode when theyre doin the second exam of the chunin exams and there in the forest of death and i dont get it. r they supose 2 steal scrolls from other people? i think they r but im not sure i was really tired and kinda outta it when i watched it so yeah!
