This crap is sooooo old, and so nasty! It is not the way to get things off to a good start, that is for sure. Truly dumb, nothing funny or cute about it! Maybe it worked 30 years ago, but it doesn't get it today.

I really think it is disgusting and mean. I really dont think I would tolerate that one bit when we get married. not saying i would divorce him on the spot, but since i dont think it is funny, he might have a cold bed to go to for a while- ok well maybe not that long...lol. Honestly, i think sharing the cake is sweet. I think sharing a drink is sweet. Once you get vicious about it, it is no longer enjoyable. I say if you want to smear cake in someones face, do it to yourself.

Yes I do. I thought I was the only person in the world who thought that. It means something, but I forgot what it means.........I had a brain fart I guess. Anyhow someone on here will have the answer as to what it means! Maybe?

honestly i do. at least when it came to me. I had NO intention in doing it. It wasnt going to happen. then when we fed it to each other, I was enjoying everything sooo much...that i shoved it in my husbands face. In return he covered me.
It is all in your own preference

Why hate something that is funny to see and fun to do? It has, basically, become a 'tradition' with newlyweds. Evidently, you have never been married, or if you have it isn't to the right person to do this with.

YES, ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!! This is soooooooo over done. I just get embarrassed for people who feel like they need to do this. I guess to be part of the marriage process.
