How do you price items better to sell them on e-bay???

I have items i would like to sell but not sure what i should put down as a value.

1 If they are kind of special/expensive/rare, look to see what prices other people might have the same or similar items for sale for.
2 If they are very much commodity (lots of the exact same selling and not too expensive) just put them up for auction and set up a reserve if you don't want to sell them for less than a certain amount.

Also set a week-long auction to make sure everybody whose looking gets a chance at them. I monitor ebay once/week to find certain items I'm looking for.

Have you checked to see if someone sold similar items there?I always check the completed listings to give me an idea.

Go cheap and they will sell.
