Giguere just b/c he makes more money and the (new) owners still would want to give themselves the good feeling of seeing the big money goalie get the #1 job for them. Otherwise you'd think as owner that you bought the team to throw some $$ away.
Giguere had a great playoff run that one time, has a good agent, and he had receptive ownership, that's how he got the big $$$.
I would pick Bryz, he's hungier, he proved it in last year's run and Giguere hasn't proved it since that run quite a while ago. I always never like the sort of bosses at a job that were like, your last 5 minutes are all that counts, but with Giguere it's been more than just 5 mintues or last season or two.

Like in Philly, they're probably going to share the starting role, but Giguere should get the start for the season.

Probably Giguere unless Bryzgalov outplays him in training camp.

Probably Giguere. He's the veteran goalie afterall, and with that defense you probably want to try the experienced goalie first.
