I have little bumps on the outer portion of my labia and I don't know what these are. They are painful if anything touches them. I usually get them when I am not able to bathe in about 3-4 days.

Could just be inflammation of some sebaceous glands called Bartholomew's glands in the area. They secrete a normal oil, and not bathing can cause a buildup of oil which clogs the gland, causing it to swell and be painful. If you have no fever, vaginal discharge, or vaginal odor, then it is probably this. Just try to bathe every other day or so. Good luck!

I would go to a doctor to check things out for sure. From the info you gave me, it sounds like an irritation of some sort. Women can get inflamed bartholin glands which are located in the groin that can be very painful. Please go see a doctor and keep that area clean- try not to skip bathing every three days. A sponge bath daily would work at the very minimum.

It's bacteria. You should at elast wash yourself down there every day to avoid getting them.
