I have tunisian and canadian coins i would like to exchange, but have had some trouble getting banks to accept coins.

They will only accept paper money.
You have to go back to the country.

Try a different bank. Canadian coins should be easy. If not, go back to Canada. I live in Upstate NY and it's been easy. Not too sure about tunisian coins. How about trying out Canadian banks for the tunisian coins while you're up there?

You might try an international airport. Since so many people travel internationally they have places to exchange currency. Check their website or call their information line.

Banks hate coins, especially foreign coins.
