How much democracy exists in Cuba? I hear they have elections for the National Assembly of 600 members. How much power does this assembly have? Can Fidel Castro overrule decisions made by the National Assembly?

Cuba is by deffinition a communist state, there is no democracy. I would say that any elections that we see are controlled by the party in power, there is no true voice of the people in communism
