They didn't in the 60s and 70s when I was in school.
Mostly, they were sent home. (maybe that's what they wanted!)

It depends , if they concetrate well they will get marks, or the teacher is happy from them they will get it ,but why are you asking ? do u think its good idea to get marks for yourself?
