Why do they list the paygrade and not $$ per hour?? and what is it?? I was looking at a job for Radiographers and their pay grade was 136 .does anyone know what that equals to per hour?? or does it varies??

Most non-union jobs at most companies have ranges, also known as pay grades. This preserves the ability to pay people more for extra experience, education, or just plain doing a better job than average.
For union jobs, the wages are usually set at a particular dollar amount for a particular job with specified experience.
You can usually ask the employer what the pay range is for a particular job and get a straight answer. If you're just applying for a job and haven't been offered one, it's usually not the best idea to ask up front.
