My 3 1/2 month old drinks 6 oz of formula every 3-4 hours, he sleeps from about midnight to 8AM. He was born at 6lbs and now weighs 15lbs. If this amount stops satisfying him I think I will add cereal 1-2 times a day because 8 oz seems like a lot for such a little guy.

Depends on the baby, if she's hungry give it to her. When i brought my baby home from the doctor 6 days later he was at 8 oz every 4 hours.... babies know when their hungry and if she isn't she won't drink it.
