These are not popups; I have popups blocked. Quality on "low" only makes it fuzzy but it continues. I don't want to uninstall Flash so I can use it for other things and my company would't let me anyway; it's a work computer. The motions in the ads won't stop even trying to uncheck play and loop. I can't get Firefox; its a company computer. I've checked all the macromedia privacy options. Help!. Thanks

No problem. There are 2 software programs, both freewares, that allow you to either block or play Macromedia Flash amination. The first is Javacoolsoftware's SpywareBlaster. SpywareBlaster is a well respected anti-spyware and anti-adware application. However, it also has a little known feature which blocks Macromedia Flash animation in Internet Explorer. Download the program from:

http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/

After installing the program, from the main menu, choose Tools > Flash Killer > under "Disable and block Macromedia Flash in Internet Explorer" Check it. Now, flashes are blocked. If you wan the flash animation then disable SpywareBlaster.

The second program is Browser Tools' Flash and Picture Control
It is more convenient than SpywareBlaster because it adds a new icon on to the toolbar. The icon is like a on-off button. Click once to block flash ads and click again to allow flash ads. You can download this freeware at:

http://www.browsertools.net/Flash-and-Pics-Control/index.html

Enjoy. If you have any questions, drop me a line.

An addition to the Firefox response - install FitlerSet.G and it downloads the newer updates to adv lists automatically along with using Adblock

switch to firefox then install the AdBlock Plus extension and subscribe to the EasyList filter set and you should never see an ad again.

right click on the ad and then press stop or anyother button can stop the animation. But you have to do that every time on each animation
