That's dumb... If you searched the internet you could find Muslim History easy. I studied under the British Education system in high school and I learnt a fair bit about World History - and that included Islam/Muslims.
Not all Muslims are bad - for the most part, they are like you and I. The crazies are the bad apples that make the rest of them look bad. This kind of question breeds and stems from intolerance and ignorance. It's the kind of fanatical close-mindedness that Hitler fed from.

Muslims are more then willing to share Islam to truly interested people.

They aren't afraid. They are brain washed, unable to think for themselves, and for the most part ignorant of their own history.
