i know shes probly just jealouse that i am the one who gets complements on my singing, and she doesnt. but it still makes me feel bad. i was gonna just get off messenger without saying another word but i think that will just make it worse. what should i do???

Honestly? Your friend doesn't sound like much of a friend. First of all if she wants to give you helpful advice, she should do so in person. Instant messaging has made people far too bold in their choice of words. It's made saying mean and hurtful things that one wouldn't say in person, a whole lot easier. Also, a real friend wouldn't come right out and say that you suck at singing. She might say something a little more encouraging, such as " with a little practice, your voice could sound tight".

If you want to sing for the ducks and they seem to like it, then by all means sing to the ducks. Who cares what that person thinks, maybe they have no taste in music.

Do what makes you feel good and why should you care what she thinks or anyone else. As long as you are happy with your singing that is all that should matter.
