Rigt click on the big blue bar.
Uncheck "Lock the Taskbar"
point the mouse to the upper edge of the blue till the arrow turns into
a double up-down arrow
Click, hold down to the bottom till you get it in the right place.

right click a part of the task bar that isnt occupied, then make sure that "lock the taskbar" ISN'T checked

then move the little dotted line things to the appropreate spot, if you move it too far to one dirrection, the size of your taskbar will double, but as long as the quicklaunch and you'r tasks are on the same level it will be fine.

if it doubled in size then make the quicklaunch and the tasks line up horozontally and then hover your mouse arrow over the top border of the taskbar till it becomes a double arrow and drag it down to be a normal size.

Hi elisa, move your mouse pointer down to the top of the toolbar and when it changes to a line with 2 arrows on it hold down the left mouse button and move the top of the taskbar down to the normal size.

Right click on the tool bar if there is a check mark next to "lock this tool bar" click on it to uncheck it. Then you can grab top of the tool bar with your cursorand drag it down to the correct size. Reselect "lock this toolbar" to keep it that way... Hope that works..

Hi, grab the top of the toolbar with your mouse pointer and hold down the left mouse button and slide the pointer down to the desired level. Double wide level will show the complete date, single with only show the time....etc. Good-Luck...pcr

move your mouse to the very top edge of it, and when it changes over just click and drag straight down. Or it might be locked, I don't know if he locked it back or not, but just in case, right click on it, and make sure "lock taskbar" isn't checked. Then drag it back down.

Right click on your toolbar, and go into properties. Check off all except the auto hide feature.
