Buy a microphone (Headset is the best), download Skype ( http://www.skype.com ) Get at least 10 bucks of credit, or get a SkypeIN/Out account. You'll save one heck of a lot of money.

Using calling card which are available at convienence stores would offer cheaper calls, if you got broadband VOIP such as vonage etc also offer cheaper calls.

dont use your mobile phone, use a LAN line and get a phone card. The air time will kill you!
