Open the stove and trace the pipe that feeds the pilot light, look around and you'll see a small screw that regulates gas flow....Screw that in tight and they will shut off, unscrew it and the flame will grow.

pull the stove out from the wall and turn of the gas **** and it will shut off all gas to the stove, if you just want to turn off the pilot,just blow it out and the saftey valve will shut off the gas.

If you are asking how, turn off the gas supply.
If it's not working, the pilot's out, hose is plugged, or you are out of gas....
Not entirely understanding question, hope one of these answers help....
