Napoleon Dynamite. I'm sure I'm going to get a lot of thumbs down for this, but let me explain.
I am a theatrical designer. It bothered me greatly that there was no attention paid to the anachronisms in the movie, because anachronims are things that I get in trouble for in my line of work. They were wearing early-90's prom clothes, but listening to things like Backstreet Boys. As far as I understood, the dance was not themed as such. There were many other anachronistic things, too, but I don't want to fill up this entire board... :-)

I was totally and utterly bored watching "the lord of the rings". I have no idea why people get so hysterical about it. Oh yeah, other films I truly hate: all of the "police academy"films.
