ya think?
WAKE UP!!! WAKE UP!!! There are forces more powerful than you can imagine at work in today's world. Its the force of mobilization. You may think it is about money, and that the guys at the top of this ladder are doing it for that but they arnt.
When you get that rich you dont need any more money. You are not acting soas to make more money. No. When you have that much money a little green mechanic elf visits you and lets you in on a little secret.
Money = Energy
and
Money ~ Faith
The more money you have, the more energy you can release on this planet and once you have the keys to the human energy force you have a responsibility to use it wisely... What your job is as a money holder is to maximize the energy output of the planet in a constructive way. The only way to do that is to have money that is worth something. Since the value of Money is directly proportional to the the amount of faith people put into it.. indirectly it is these wealthy men's job to make sure your faith stays strong.. or the energy machine will collapse. One way to keep your faith strong: control all the information you have access to. With that kind of control, you can do all sorts of things like get dipshit Bush elected into office, make people think that gas prices are a result of good management and not direct control of those prices, the list goes on and on.
welcome my son... welcome to the machine.

Yes. They bribed the oil companies with their billions of inside profits to bring the prices down until election time. I said that many weeks ago, in another answer. When gas prices were still at an all time high.
In order for the Republicans to retain power, they need ONE positive thing to bring to the table for election day.
It's imperative. If the Democrats regain power, then the Bush war machine could face a total shutdown. Then Bush will run around stamping his foot like a spoiled child, and veto everything that could benefit the USA.

No. It might seem suspicious if it were even slightly out of the ordinary, but it is not.
Truth is, gas prices fall after Labor Day every year as Summer demand eases and Winter heating oil demand has not yet kicked in. Even when prices skyrocketed after Katrina last year they still dropped in the Fall. As for the wars in the Middle East, most of that petroleum is being sourced locally (through Haliburton contracts, of course).
FYI, the pattern is identical in Canada, where the population does not vote in our November elections.

Gas prices always go down at the end of summer, like your electric bill. The gas in Mo is $2.25. Gas prices are controlled by speculators trying to by oil to make a profit in the near future

Yes, who is fighting a war for the oil companies and who are on their Board of Directors?? Isn't Bush's Daddy one??
Funny gas prices started coming down 2 days before our primaries! That is not coincidence!

That's a very strong possibility, the oil companies give 80% of their campaign contributions to Republicans and they get lots of tax and other breaks in return, like the pathetic CAFE increase they came up with, and more.

Oil is traded on the world market ...the president has little control over this.
It's the oil company's doing this because the summer is over and want to continue their profits by encouraging you to drive more.
