As the man who "loves" **** once said, there's no chance in hell. Hogan wanted this match at Wrestlemania 22, but Austin is complaining that he will never lose to Hogan in a match ever. The only way Austin agrees to this match is when he's the winner, something that Hogan never took lightly (since the plan was for Hogan to win the match anyway). Besides, much like The Rock, Austin has move on from the WWE and started taking acting classes in L.A.. He's more intrested in making films now (he sign a three-picture deal with the WWE a year or two ago) so he doesn't have to worry about getting injured (his ankle and neck injury are well-documented in his career) on a set, unless it's an ironic twist. Although Austin has move on, he might show up to a WWE event from time to time, but the match will never happen.

There is a chance that it could happen at Wrestlemania 23 in Detroit as WWE want to try and replicate the WM 3 crowd. That is extremely doubtful however as both Austin and Hogan have creative control clauses that let them decide their matches and Austin refuses to lose to Hogan clean (the only way Hogan ends his matches) unless he has a contract stating he would get a clean win over Hogan at Summerslam, something Hogan refuses to do. If it doesn't happen in 2007 it will not happen at all due to Hogan's age and the fact that his body is falling apart.
Other rumored matches for WM 23 are Hogan v. Cena and Austin v. Cena.

Will it happen? Doubtful...and here's why. Laying aside the fact that both of them have health issues-Hogan has a replaced knee and hip, yet still wrestles fairly hard- what an idiot...and Austin has a bad neck and bad knees... the biggest problem is their egos... both of them want creative control of anything in-ring that they do. Particularly Hogan, who wouldn't dare lose to Austin. If they put the egos aside and actually wrestled, I'd say Austin wins. He's in better shape and had more layoff time than Hogan. I'm actually impressed how Hogan still has some moves despite the joint replacements.

won't happen hogan dons't want 2 lose 2 austin and austin dosn't want 2 lose to hogan plus they hate each other want proof watch the 2006 hall of fame and watch hogans face when austin says the line about "a can of woopass with hogans name on it" priceless.
