i prefer gas but my hubby prefers electric. if i want him to help with the cooking it has to be electric so that's what we have.

For quality of cooking, I prefer Gas. For ease of keeping kitchen surfaces around stove top and oven clean, I prefer Electric.

I like gas for stove top cooking and electric for the oven. Good news is that now they are making them that way--called dual fuel ranges.

GAS! In winter if you lose power, you can always turn on the stove for a while to heat the place. It heats more evenly and quickly too.

Gas is the way to go, saves money and cooks more evenly across your pan surface. Mostly about the money!!

I prefer gas because you can lower or raise the heat quicker.

Gas, you dont have to wait for it to heat up or cool down, it is instant.

i like gas because it cooks the food faster.
