single click on the icon that will give you the minimized screen.
Hold Alt, then Press enter.
Go to Shortcut
Right by Run, set to maximized
OK
That's it.

With your computer still on.
press start,
find control panel ( on that small screen on the right in the middle.)
press it and a page with many figures comes up,
Find Display and open it.
Now go to setting on the top right, press it and you get on the left bottom side like a control , move it to the left, press ok and it should be ready as you turn to the desktop, if not restart it.

all you need to do is right click on the shortcut (maybe on the desktop) select properties goto the shortcut tab look for run the in the drop down box input maximised, click ok. Job done!

If you are talking about Internet explorer browser window or you windows explorer window... just drag the corners to resize the window then exit the window windows will remember your last settings (size) the next time it opens.

while they're minimized you click on them on your job and while they pop up in the event that they are actually not finished-reveal you press the sq. to the left of the X on the better appropriate hand nook of your reveal. desire that facilitates :)
