White Spots on the Skin

I've noticed that for some time now I have small white dots all over my legs and sometimes arms. I eat a variety of foods but are still probably lacking something. Do I too need more vitamin A?

(possibly)
Tinea Versicolor - a fungus
If you want a cheap cure:
Buy a bottle of Selsun Blue shampoo. The selenium sulfide in the shampoo kills the fungus. Put a blue spot of shampoo on the spots. Some people are more sensitive than others. I can leave it on overnight and it won't hurt me. You will have to repeatedly put it on. The spots are going to stay white until that part of your body is exposed to sun again and all the skin eventually turn the same shade. It will take a while.

HA HA HA LOL Some of those answers r funny! They're probably just spots on ur skin where u had an abrasion & the sun doesn't add color to them so they appear white. On ur next Dr. visit ask him/her.

if they start to show after you get some sun its a fungal skin thing. its not contagouse or how ever you spell it, its just something that a cream will clear up.otherwise its a pigment thing and you should talk to your doctor about it could very well be serious.
