it probably is some problem with teh firewall settings of your computer.... but i would first ask you if you are using the yahoo! mail beta?
and if so then that;s the prolem.... try switching back to the original yahoo! mail fr a little while...it should help you...

It is possible that your account was deleted or that yahoo is having some problems and it attempting to repair them. Just be patient. Hope this helps you.
