My friend (Lucy) has invited me to go paintballing tommorow. I have said yes, and I must be at her house by 7:50am, but now, I have backed out, and she dosent know, and I really dont know what to do.

You committed yourself to going so you must accept that commitment and go. You can't let your friend down now that is really cowardly and out of order. You must have been interested in doing paintballing at the time. It's a well cool thing to do so just go and enjoy yourself.

If you truly don't wish to go.
Why not send her a text on her phone?
Is she your girlfriend or are you just good friends?
Just be honest with her, If on the other hand you just can't be bothered. Just go any way, you might enjoy it, GO!
Is she only meeting you there?
Or other people as well?
If it is just you then you beter go other wise you might lose her as a friend.
If other people are going as well, Just say that you were tierd or something.

Go. I haven't tried it myself, but I bet it'll be a lot of fun.
On the other hand, if you really don't want to go, just call her or send her a message somehow. She might be disappointed but if she's a real friend she shouldn't have much problem with it.

Get your mum to call her and tell her that you died, when she finds out you are still alive she will be so happy she will probably forget that you chickened out of the paintballing

Don't leave it like that and let her down, she will expect you in the morning. Is it not possible to still go,??? if the answer is "no", can you phone her in the morning around 7am and explain? she won't think you are a very good friend if you don't let her know somehow that you wont be going!!!!!!!!!!

You need to bite the bullet and tell her the truth. You changed your mind. If she is the kind of friend that you admire and respect then she won't be mad or anything like that. Just be honest it is 100 %effective.

why have you backed out .are you scared you might get beaten by a girl at paint ball ,go you might have fun ,to many people back out of things they have never tried ,lets face it if you dont like it just dont do it again but at least youve tried.
