This is usually quite normal. I used to be 5 ft 5, but now since I'm in my 40's I'm 5 ft 4. Why? Because, over the course of years your back bones do their job which means vertebra wear down from the everyday motion. It's normal.
Also, remember when you measure a lot of times you're wearing shoes. It depends on shoe to shoe as what you height might be. If you used shoes during the measurement.
Our structure changes as we grow. If this really worries you just talk to your dr. the next time you're there. I'm sure they can answer whatever question you may have.

how old are you?
most has to do with the time taken
like in the morning we're usually 1 inch taller than when we're in the evening
drink more milk and sleep more and you should be fine

thats because u stopped in doing some sort of sport,
if you do swimming or jumping sports like volleyball you would get tall like 5, 6

were you wearing shoes? or are you walking around with bricks on your head? this will make you shorter especially on softer ground
